Ntshongweni Library

The existing Ntshongweni library is housed in a small container that does not adequately provide for the needs of the local community.

The proposed development aims to become a catalyst for the development of a central civic node for the Ntshongweni Community, with other community facilities proposed to be developed around it. The new library site is located next to the taxi rank to ensure public transport access.

In addition to the library main, the facility will have a general activity room/community hall as well as an external amphitheatre. Water storage and waste treatment will be handled on site due to the lack of infrastructure in the area.
