Empangeni CBD Urban Renewal Phase 1

The project is currently in phase 1 of development of a multi-phased urban renewal process for the Empangeni CBD on behalf of the Umhlathuze Municipality. The project involves both urban design and architectural disciplines for new urban fabric, trader and pedestrian safety upgrades for the city centre.

The architectural component is centred around the provision of 108 new trader stalls, in addition to new community and trader facilities and amenities.
